Registered Massage Therapist
Marie Itterman RMT graduated from a massage therapy program at Kikkawa College, Toronto in 2015.
A lover of travel, people, culture, running, outdoors, Marie loves life and has an infinite curiosity for what it has to offer.
Throughout the years, Marie has acquired diverse experience having worked in sales and finance and having studied natural nutrition, yoga and yin yoga, and studying Practical Nursing whilst living abroad in Australia for 3.5yrs.
Marie is a believer of listening to what her clients ask for, educating and working as a team with them, to optimize their treatment outcomes, and in treating everyone according to their personal needs and goals, as she truly values the need for individuality whilst implementing treatment plans.
Do not be fooled by her stature : Marie may be tiny but she absolutely is a very mighty therapist, doted with good hands with a forgiving touch when it comes to trigger point therapy, deep tissue work and myofascial work . She also is an encourager of relaxation, rest and recovery no matter what your treatment goals may be.
Additionally, Marie will encourage you to be mobile and will help you stretch with correct form, and her interest in Massage Therapy stems from her desire to help others acquire the physicality they require to pursue their dreams and passion. In fact, when asked: “Why do you want to be a RMT?” Marie answers: “Because it’s about our passions in life that keep us “alive”. Whether you’re someone that’s passionate about knitting, or you are an elite athlete, it’s our passion in our lives that keep us moving forward. If there is injury that prohibit us from pursuing our passion, then what is left?”
