Policies

All treatment times include administration, assessment, evaluation, treatment and patient education.

Important!: All appointments start on time. Late arrivals may have their session shortened, in the event that we are not able to extend your appointment time. However,  please understand that this session will nonetheless have regular charges applied.

We accept  direct billing, cash, debit, Visa, and MasterCard as payment methods.

Cancellations

A client is given 15 minutes, before being considered as a “no-show”, if this client has failed to communicate that he/she is delayed. Clients with a no-show status will be required to prepay their next session, with a credit card, as we will not otherwise accept their appointment request.

Due to the possibility that other clients may have been turned away for the time slot that was originally booked, full rates may apply for cancellations within 24 hours. In the event of unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of the therapist, this fee may be reduced or waived. Full rates will also apply to  a “no-show” , and  payment for the missed session will be required before  the client to book his/her next appointment.

Payment & Receipts

Payment is due in full on the day that massage therapy services are provide. A receipt will be provided upon receipt of payment for the amount due for the service received on the day of treatment.

Direct Billing (E-claims)

We are now set up for direct billing for massage therapy treatments to most insurance companies.  This means if you have insurance coverage we can bill your insurance company directly for payment, and you only have to pay the small portion that is not covered!

PLEASE NOTE:  Everyone’s insurance policy is different.  In some cases, your provider does not pay the clinic directly.  In this case, we can process your claim for you, but you will be asked to pay for your treatment in full. You will then receive re-embursement directly from your insurance company.


We can now direct bill for the following insurance companies:

  • Desjardins Insurance ( Does not pay clinic directly, you will be asked to pay for the treatment in full, and get re-embursed directly from your insurance company)
  • Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance PLan
  • Cowan
  • iA Financial Group
  • Manulife  ( you must sign up for direct billing on the manuLife website before we can direct bill with Manulife Life)
  • Maximum Benefit
  • Johnson
  • Johnston Group
  • Great West Life

For ALL direct billing transactions, a credit card will be required to use as a back-up payment method, in the event that a claim does not get processed.

Packages

Are paid in full on  the day that massage therapy services are provided. A receipt will be provided after each session, for the discounted value of the massage service received on that day.

Packages may be refunded at any time, less the difference of balance of the treatments previously used in the package.

Packaged sessions never expire, however the unused balance from your package will be  carried onto your current cycle of extended healthcare benefits, in the event that you have failed to use all of your sessions before  the year end.
